For Sale

When inquiring about a bunny, please include name, state/location and any other important information. Emails without this will not be replied to.

Serious inquires only please

Windswept Bunnies often has pet bunnies available, however, Windswept's "pet" bunnies are generally also our show stock. We pride ourself in breeding not only towards the breed standard but also for fantastic personalities, which allows our bunnies to make wonderful house pets in addition to being quality bunnies.

Windswept Bunnies raises our bunnies as a hobby and devotes an extreme amount of time and love to our bunnies. We raise and keep ALL of our bunnies within our home. They are socialized with a dog, kitties, and our daily lives. It is not often you would not see a bunny on my lap while watching tv or working on the computer. They are brought up to be house bunnies and pets, above all else. This helps us to raise friendly, loving and gentle bunnies.

We do have a waiting list, and would be happy to ad anyone for a special color, type, gender or out of a specific bunny. Available bunnies are sent to the waiting list before being posted on the website.

When inquiring about a pet bunny, please read about rabbit care information section of this website before contacting me.

Bunnies do require a 50% deposit to be held. Payment form is money order, cash or paypal only.

Prices are firm. They are listed below the photo and text of each bunny.

No baby bunnies under eight (8) weeks of age will be available to go home, under Massachusetts state law a rabbit must be at least eight (8) weeks old before moving to its new home.

Windswept Bunnies only sells to indoor homes and rabbitries, please do not contact me if you plan to keep your bunnies outdoors.

Pet bunnies will not be placed in homes with intentions of breed them. Please learn about the breed, the standards and raising rabbits before considering breeding rabbits.

Pet bunnies will not be sold in pairs, unless housed in seperate cages.

As we do love our bunnies very much, we wish that owners please contact us if they can no longer provide care, for any reason. We are more than happy to have our bunnies return home.

All Windswept Bunnies go home with a small bag of feed and a large bag of orchard grass hay.

Windswept Bunnies offers a nail clipping service (although a how to demo is shown when baby bunnies go home). Nail clipping needs to be done every few months and I know some owners can be a little scared of clipping nails alone. Owners are welcome to set up appointments for nail clipping, for free.

When bringing home a Windswept bunny, please consider you have a full lifetime of support. It is quite often I have a phone call with a question or a cute story. I love this and welcome it! I love to know how my bunnies are growing and doing, and am over joyed when new owners keep in touch with me and am more than happy to help with any questions or troubles they have along the way.

Bunnies for Sale as of April 11, 2009

Gender: Buck
Color: Broken Black
Oh my gosh, so cute. I just want to squish his little cheeks! She is super super sweet! He climbs into you arms. I had two of his littermates availabe and they were reserved before I even had a chance to get them on the website. He will be ready to go home next week. He is tiny tiny in size and will stay that way. Total sweet as a button and a cuddle rabbit! Beautiful type overall and just a super nice little rabbit. I really wanted to keep him myself but some terribly news came up with my baby horse (she needs surgery at Tufts on her leg) so I'm going to part with some of the babies I had wanted to keep this time around since nearly all of my mine is going to be devoted to my horses recovery. He is just fantastic though! I know he's going to be so very special for someone! He sleeps on my lap when I watch tv at night and just hangs out, licks my hand and snuggles. He's the perect little guy!

Gender: Doe
Color: Broken Tortoiseshell
What a little show doe! This one will be a show stopper someday, if her owner chooses so. Fantastic mix of Saynora and Pitney bloodlines. Beautiful teaspoon ears, lovely round "apple" head, full and solid body. Great depth and width. Super type in a fantastic TINY package! And her personality... to die for! She's as sweet as a button. Really a super lovely little doe whom will be a great addition to a showing herd or as someones adorable little house bunny.

Isn't she adorable? What a little love muffin! She has been a joy to work with too, so easy to teach to sit up and still. Wonderful confirmation and type for the breed. Will be a lovely little show doe someday too! Possibly carries blue dilute genes as well. Linebred to Sarah's Lewis (BOB ARBA convention 2004) and also to my REW line (Belokonny's Blizzard). Very friendly little doe, always wondering what is going on around her. Will sit by the side of her cage and wait for you to pet her too! Such a sweetie.

Gender: Doe
Color: Black
Such a sweetie pie! A total smoosh ball of bunny love! She is extremely friendly and very much a "love me" bunny. Littermate to the bunny above and below, their personalities are all so wonderful. This little doe is particularly friendly and will following you around though. Loves her head petted and her ears stroked. So cute! She's not quite as nice of a show bunny as her littermates, however she is a show quality animal and may blossom with age. She is 100% adorable though!

Gender: Buck
Color: Tortoiseshell
Isn't he cute? He is sooooo tiny! Almost what I would call the runt in his litter, he fits into a teacup! However, he is just so ungoshly cute that is doesn't matter. He has nice type along with that too! His head is huge already! Lovely "apple" shape, super tiny and fat teaspoon shaped ears. His body is solid and wide. He is overly friendly too. Lets you pick him up without any trouble, he hops into your hands actually. He loves cuddles! Such a cutie. He'll be a fantastic house bunny or possibly a very nice show rabbit too. He's a little behind on his maturing since he's smaller so I can't gauge too well yet, but he is going to be a beautiful little guy!

Gender: Buck
Color: Sable point
What a pretty color huh? I don't often have sable points so he's a little rare for me color wise. He's an adorable little buck though. Small in size and looks a great deal like his daddy, Posidian. He's also gained his daddies goofy personality. He's going to be a very nice and stunning little rabbit. I was retaining him for my own breeding program but I'm very picky. He is only available because his headset is a little low compared to what I'm looking for right now. Silly huh? He is otherwise a very nice little bun with good type, bone and structure. His head is just starting to fill in some but has a long way to go. He looks a lot like his sire did at this age, so I'm sure he's going to be quite a nice little guy all grown up!

I forgot to take a new photo of this adorable little guy! However...this photo is only a few weeks old anyways. He is a senior buck, just over six months in age. He is super cute! A total mush bunny that loves lovins. You can read more about him on my blog too. He is extremely friendly and will hop right up to you and say hello. He loves other animals too! Super sweet little guy and just an overall pugdy cute bunny. He is just over three pounds in size and is currently still filling out. He head gets bigger by the day, I swear! :)

Price: $Thank you! Enjoy him! :)

Gender: Buck
Color: Tortoiseshell
Smooshie... that is what comes to mind when I see this little boy. He is a senior buck, 10 months in age. I have been keeping him and his littermate sister (who was on the front of my website for several months..so cute!). I just love him, he reminds me of an Ewok. He is tiny too but has great type overall. He is currently...blowing his coat so his fur is extremely rough looking but he's still just so cute. He looks like a toy even though he's all grown up. :) Really nice mix of bloodlines too, but then again I think most of mine are. He would be a fabulous addition to a breeding program or an adorable pet.
