For Sale

When inquiring about a bunny, please include name, state/location and any other important information. Emails without this will not be replied to.

Serious inquires only please

Windswept Bunnies often has pet bunnies available, however, Windswept's "pet" bunnies are generally also our show stock. We pride ourself in breeding not only towards the breed standard but also for fantastic personalities, which allows our bunnies to make wonderful house pets in addition to being quality bunnies.

Windswept Bunnies raises our bunnies as a hobby and devotes an extreme amount of time and love to our bunnies. We raise and keep ALL of our bunnies within our home. They are socialized with a dog, kitties, and our daily lives. It is not often you would not see a bunny on my lap while watching tv or working on the computer. They are brought up to be house bunnies and pets, above all else. This helps us to raise friendly, loving and gentle bunnies.

We do have a waiting list, and would be happy to ad anyone for a special color, type, gender or out of a specific bunny. Available bunnies are sent to the waiting list before being posted on the website.

When inquiring about a pet bunny, please read about rabbit care information section of this website before contacting me.

Bunnies do require a 50% deposit to be held. Payment form is money order, cash or paypal only.

Pricing: pets $65 and up, show/brood: $150 and up. Prices are firm. They are listed below the photo and text of each bunny.

No baby bunnies under eight (8) weeks of age will be available to go home, under Massachusetts state law a rabbit must be at least eight (8) weeks old before moving to its new home.

Windswept Bunnies only sells to indoor homes and rabbitries, please do not contact me if you plan to keep your bunnies outdoors.

Pet bunnies will not be placed in homes with intentions of breed them. Please learn about the breed, the standards and raising rabbits before considering breeding rabbits.

Pet bunnies will not be sold in pairs, unless housed in seperate cages.

As we do love our bunnies very much, we wish that owners please contact us if they can no longer provide care, for any reason. We are more than happy to have our bunnies return home.

Windswept Bunnies retires and loves our senior bunnies right here. I do not offer older bunnies for adoption as I believe they deserve fantastic lives right here with me. Windswept Bunnies believes it is only fair and right for a bunny that spent years showing, producing lovely new bunnies and/or just being a great bunny for us, deserves a happy retirement. If for some reason you are looking for a retired bunny (a friend for another old bunny perhaps), please feel free to contact us. We would be happy to assist in location of an older bunny.

All Windswept Bunnies go home with a small bag of feed and a large bag of orchard grass hay.

Windswept Bunnies offers a nail clipping service (although a how to demo is shown when baby bunnies go home). Nail clipping needs to be done every few months and I know some owners can be a little scared of clipping nails alone. Owners are welcome to set up appointments for nail clipping, for free.

When bringing home a Windswept bunny, please consider you have a full lifetime of support. It is quite often I have a phone call with a question or a cute story. I love this and welcome it! I love to know how my bunnies are growing and doing, and am over joyed when new owners keep in touch with me and am more than happy to help with any questions or troubles they have along the way.

Junior doe, solid tortoiseshell coloring. Isn't she just adorable? Such a sweet little doe and a tiny little girl at that. Just turned eight weeks old and is weaned, ready to go. She's very sweet and easy going. I just love her big chunky head. She has beautiful eyes and a lovely all over conformation the breed. Her mother is one of my favorite does, Alpadia, pictured on my does page. This little doe has a darker color version of the tortoiseshell which I think is really quite pretty. She's also very understanding, when I took her photos it was the first time we had a little photo shoot. It took me no more than 10 seconds to pose her up and have her sit still. This is the type of doe that will fully love to be carried around and cuddled all day long. She loves to snuggle and she's quite a little princess in her own right. She loves her little fleece bed. I had to resist tying up little pink bows or putting a hat on her, but the next sunny day we have, and if she is of course still here, I may be temped to do so. She's a lovely little girl and just a fantastic personality.

$65

Junior doe, solid chestnut coloring. Oh gosh, this is a toughie. She's just a little angel. Really a pretty and overly cute little doe. Her momma, Marie (on the does page) is another sweet heart of mine. I'm not really sure where to start with this little girl. She's very easy going and enjoys being held. She has a little bit of pep in her personality right now, as she likes to look around and seems a bit curious in her surroundings, but she isn't too excited about exploring around very much at this time. She's a small doe and will continue to stay quite small. I'm a little unsure of offering her available, but I would be happy if the perfect home came along for her. As with all my bunnies, approved homes only but I may be a little "extra" picky in this case. Really a pretty little show doe whom I'm sure would do quite well on the tables but I really think she'll be happiest being a loved house bunny.

$75

WS Picasso. Senior buck (16 months old). Solid tortoiseshell coloring. Solid little guy, weighting 3.08. Beautiful overall balance and I just adore the little guy. He's been a hard one to consider letting go of, I've been pondering it off and on the past few months. He is proven, I have a beautiful daughter by him. He carries blue dilute and is a grandson of Sarah's Lewis and also V&V Gelleto, both Nationals and Convention top placings. Super solid buck all around. He is a total love bug too. He loves attention and will just melt into you. He's chubby and cute all over. Show quality. Available to a select show or breeding home, or he would really make a super house bunny as well.

$125 with papers, $75 to a house bunny home

Junior doe, solid fox coloring. This little doe is a silly girl! She is always looking for something to do or get into. When playing on the floor she finds couches and chairs to be a playground, hopping on and off of them. She has no fear of anything. She'll match right up to my kitties or even my dog (who is 65lbs) and say hello, sometimes even making them move so she can explore without going around them. She is a sweetie pie and quite friendly. She is another door hoverier, looking for attention whenever someone walks by her cage. She'll stay small in size and will fill out greatly. The solid fox coloring is really one of my favorites, because it is just so pretty when they are adults. She'll be a stunning little doe. Sorry that the photo was taken durring her "gangly" stage, but I know she'll be a pretty doe. For photo's of her brother (which I am keeping), please look on my blog for the little broken otter buck, you'll see just how pretty she was and will be once growing out of her "spare" parts stage (although I think watching babies grow up it part of the fun, they change daily it seems).

$65

Junior doe, solid tortoiseshell coloring. What a little piglet! Please forgive the photo, as she is molting baby fuzz right now. This little doe is sweet and easy going. She enjoys to be held, and sits at the cage door waiting for attention. She is bright eyed and curious but laid back with really no fuss in her. She'll let you pick her up easily and doesn't mind is a foot or two isn't being supported. She does enjoy couch time and naps though, so I think she would be a perfect match for someone looking for a bunny to bond with. I also think she would do well in a family situation, but the little doe would really enjoy having her own human to sleep on or follow around the house, you'll just have to be careful when eating Cheerio's, as she really begs for them. **updated pictures coming soon. She is even more adorable now that all her baby fluff has shedded out and she is a total sweetie pie!**.

Junior doe, solid fox coloring. Another little girl in her "gangly" stage and also molting out some of her baby fuzzies. This little doe is tiny but very sweet. She is just a darling and is great to cuddle and hold. She is a bit reserved and shy though. She will explore and come out of her shell after she knows whom is around her. She loves pats on the head and I think she'll be well suited for a "lap" bunny. She'll make a lovely house bunny of course too, but I think she'll enjoy most of her time being safe and sound in someones lap or next to them on the couch.

$65

Junior does, both broken fox coloring. I love love love these does! They is just fantasticly friendly! These girls beg and I mean beg a lot for attention. They are only currently offered because both will be between three to four pounds fully grown. I love both of these does because of their personalities. I may keep one and work her into my program, as they have the exact mind I have been breeding for but are a bit larger than I am ideally working towards. Either way, I can really not say enough great things about these girls. They are friendly. They follow me around the house and when I go to pick them up, they just sit there. They never fuss or move about. They a total piglets for food, but also love nap time. They seem to know how wonderful they are as well. They are a linebreeding to one of my foundation herd bucks and truly share his personality. Just wonderful friendly does.

$65 (one available)

Netherland Dwarf, junior buck, siamese sable coloring. This is a tiny little guy! Super friendly and easy going. Loves to be petted and held. He'll sit for hours on your lap if you continue to pet his head. He is bright eyed and very curious. A little bit of a piggy eater, so he's a bit chunky but thats all the more to love! Will mature under two pounds. Very pretty color. Grand champion parents from the west coast. I only keep a few Netherlands, so he is only available due to my limited number. He'll make a wonderful house bunny. I can completely see him enjoying spawling out on the couch with someone or running around the floor with some baby toys. Too cute!

$45

Netherland Dwarf, junior doe, smoke pearl coloring. A littermate to the above boy. I just love her coloring. She is so sweet. I've been calling her blueberry, for lack of a better name at the moment but I've been so temped to put little hats on her. She's very easy going and also just loves attention. She hovers at the cage door, along with her brother. They are simply adorable. She is also very small and compact, although not as chubby as her brother. She is super sweet. I may need to do a photo shoot with her and some pink ribbons and a hat. I have to admit, even my non-rabbit loving boyfriend walked by when I was taking photos of both these Netherland dwarf babies and he even said "those ones are cute". I think that sums it up. She'll be a wonderful, and of course, adorable house bunny.

$45

Junior buck, solid tortoiseshell coloring. Oh what a cutie pie! Dark coloring and just chunky and pudgy all over. His coat is a little "extra" shaggy, although he's not an angora, it does seem to be between a normal Holland lop coat and a Fuzzy lop fur texture. No worries, as he may shed out with a nice shorter coat. Overall I just adore this little buck and he is such well suited for being a total lap bunny. He is easy going and just flops out. Total sweetie pie and of course, he was very nice to put up with my dressing him up a bit too.

$65

Junior doe, black coloring. Where do I even begin with this darling girl? Isn't she pretty? I just love her face and eyes. Black can be such a pretty color when the bunny is well put together. This doe is only offered because I have her littermate and due to space issues, I can not keep several from the same litters at this time. Overall, she's a beautiful doe with a lovely personality. She can be a bit timid, but she loves to look around. She does like to be patted and seems to be just a doll about being held. She had no problems with me putting bows on her ears (it was cute). Lovely little doe. She'll mature quite small, roughly three pounds or under. Just a chubby little girl with a sweet face and mind.

$75

Junior buck, solid orange coloring. Isn't he cute? I mean all, ALL, bunnies are cute, but isn't he just extra extra cute? He is just a doll! Super friendly already. He is always in front of the cage looking for attention. He was a sweetie pie when we too photos too. He loves to snuggle and hang out, but also, like most boys, enjoys a good romp and adventure too! Currently five weeks old and will be ready to go at eight weeks. He will stay small, three pounds or less. I've already decided to keep his sister, although who knows, if he's not snatched up soon I may change my mind. Lovely little boy, I think he'll be a total joy to have as a house bunny, as he's a lovely combo of personality, cuteness and just a pretty color too boot!

Recently placed bunnies:

Senior buck, broken tortoiseshell coloring. Windswept's Boeing, named for his lovely little airplane ears! Boeing is currently 8 months old and is available as a house bunny or a breeding bunny. He could possibly be shown, as his ears go below the verticle most of the time, but when he is curious they pop up like they did in the photo. Boeing is a total sweetie pie though. He is tiny too boot, weighing under 3 pounds fully grown. He is small, compact and overally cute. His parents are both grand champions. I have been holding onto him as a house bunny for myself because I adore his personality so very much! However, I have some newly retired bunnies (ages eight and nine) that I'm currently box training and need more house bunny room for, so Boeing is hopefully looking for a home where he can be his own house bunny and have a individual or a family to share his amazing personality with! Please contact me if you think Boeing would be a good match for your home. As with all my bunnies, fantastic homes are the most important when they are placed.

$sold - Thank you Kerri and family

Junior doe, broken fox coloring. Pretty little doe. Friendly and just a sweetiest little muzzle on her. She's very alert and curious but not at all hyper. She likes to look around and watch what is going on. She seems to really enjoy being cuddled in someone arms and loves kisses on the head. She is just a sweet little doe and has a very pretty look to her which I think is just adorable. I can see pink bows on her ears and it just makes me smile because it would really look quite adorable on her. She'll make a fantastic little house bunny, she'll stay small in size (roughly 2 to 3 lbs) and of course those beautiful eyes will only be more stunning as she grows up.

Junior doe, solid fox coloring. I guess you can guess I couldn't pick which photo I liked the best. I just love, love, love... this little doe! She is fantastic! Super sweet too! She is sired by my very lovely Starfox, and a grand daughter of my Posidian. And you can see she already has her daddies and grand fathers huge and massive head. Beautifil coloring and just extreme type. She is chunky, short and fat all over. Really what I consider the perfect little butterball. She was just a little doll when I took her photos. Looking around and sitting up nicely. She is young, but already has no problem posing nicely and holding still. Her type is well balanced, although her head is just huge. I think she's going to be quite a knock out. May not stay on my sale list long. Her personality is equally as nice as her looks. A total cutie I can't help but pick up whenever I walk by her momma's cage.

$125 - on hold for Carrie and Chloe

Junior buck, broken tortoiseshell coloring. What a little cutie! Friendly little buck with really nice Holland lop type. He is already learning that begging at the cage door means I'll pick him up and play with him for a while. His coloring is pretty, with a 50/50 coloring of white and tortoiseshell. He could easily become a show rabbit or a super house bunny. He'll stay small and mature to about three pounds. He has lovely bone density and a short shoulder, good depth, and width. Overall a beautiful little buck. He is available currently as I am keeping his brother, however he is a gem of a little buck and may not stay on my sale list very long.

$sold - Thank you Jessie

Junior buck, solid tortoiseshell coloring. Oh my gosh! What a chunky little boy! He is a total smush ball. Extremely easy going personality. He would be just a super fantastic bunny to hang out on your lap, maybe for therapy work (visiting hospitals, senior homes) or just a fuzzy little guy to romp about the house, better yet, perhaps all three. He's just a really easy going little boy. He gives bunny kisses as well, which is cute. He loves to be held and cuddled. He was quite friendly while I was taking his photos, this was his first time outside of the house (as the same with many of these photos on babies on this page), but he sat up nicely and sat still too. He'll be a wonderful bunny for someone to really love and bond with.
